Malaysia: A Street Market Stroll

I’ve already mentioned that I love to eat in Malaysia… So of course, going to the market is a very fun activity for me! I took some photos at a relatively typical neighborhood street market to share with y’all.

At this market you can get all the basics, and then some. You can get fish:

As well as vegetables:

As well as eggs and fresh-made fish balls:

There are housewares and trinkets a-plenty.

We were there during the main tropical fruit harvest season, which meant an abundance of delicious, delicious fruits!

And of course, plenty of food vendors, such as this chicken rice seller (savory rice cooked in chicken broth, topped with pieces of roasted chicken, sliced cucumbers, and spicy chili sauce) and a vegetarian food stand.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this little tour of a market’s sights!
