Helio’s family’s generosity really knows no bounds… Here is a peek at the lunch we had before leaving:
Delicious cooked beef, egg salad, farofa (the powdery stuff in the top right side — manioc flour flavored with smoked meat that you dredge your meat in) and pasta with tomato sauce.
Their semi-outdoor wood-burning stove was really interesting!
Here’s Baker, finding the best piece of meat (with grandma in the back talking to the horse!)
And Coralie taking a break with the huge bunch of bananas they had hanging by the house, we presume taken from one of the many fruit trees at the farm.
We ended the meal with a sweet chocolate-y dessert 🙂
