There are many things I miss about San Diego, namely: Coralie, my hairdresser, and La Posta.
I’m not going to lie. La Posta does not look like much. It is your typical 24-hour Mexican food shack, conveniently situated in a liquor store parking lot. Half of their food isn’t that great. But there is something absolutely magical about their chile relleno burrito.
In the words of a wise, wise man:
I’d eat this sober.
This humble burrito might not look like much. Actually, it looks a little gross. And the hot sauce they provide isn’t the best (we’ve found Sriracha works much better). But man oh man is that burrito good.
I actually can’t explain the goodness, so I’ll just tell you one thing.
